Clive Robinson • August 31, 2012 12:07 PM E-Gads the Well is still alive and (presumably) well, that takes me back a very very long way, it must be well over a quater of a century since I last suppped there... David • September 4, 2012 10:13 AM The WELL, wow. I remember when Billy Idol hung out at the WELL and that kind of made BBS's cool. Who actually owns the it now? Google... FWIW Jon Lebkowsky • September 4, 2012 12:52 PM That's a good question. The WELL is currently owned by Salon, but it's members are negotiating its purchase: http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2012/07/... The WELL has actually continued to serve an active, though somewhat smaller, community of users. Inkwell.vue, the WELL forum where we're having the discussion, is world-readable and has high traffic because we interview a lot of high-profile authors (like Bruce) there. Bruce didn't mention it, but you can send comments or questions via a link in the footer. Andrew Norton (@ktetch) • September 4, 2012 3:27 PM Was great to meet you and see you this weekend, Bruce. Audio will be up this week I hope.
