Anonymous • March 21, 2008 2:16 PM If nerdcore trips your trigger, check out Jonathan Coulton too, while not super techincal, he hits on Sci-fi topics (robots, genetic engineering) and a ton of other awesome geeky topics :) Skorj • March 21, 2008 2:25 PM "You can’t hide secrets from the future with math." I wondered where that line came from! Nice! Petréa Mitchell • March 21, 2008 2:26 PM "You can't hide secrets from the future with math" is going into my quote file. alan • March 21, 2008 2:55 PM Another nerdcore artist to listen to is M.C. Hawking. Incredibly funny stuff. Imagine Stephen Hawking as a hardcore rapper. http://www.mchawking.com/ alan • March 21, 2008 3:31 PM A couple more crypto-related songs can be found at http://www.philzimmermann.com/EN/audiovideo/... Anonymous Coward • March 21, 2008 3:53 PM LOL that was funny ... how can you call yourself MC Frontalot? A+ ROFL LRayZor • March 21, 2008 4:08 PM There's a cracking video of one of his other tracks about 'Zork' called 'It's Pitch Dark' on youtube. nerdcore • March 21, 2008 4:17 PM Check out "Alice and Bob" from the original CS gangsta rapper, MCPlus+. He references Bruce and Twofish in the lyrics, and has a shout-ou to Bruce in another one of his tracks. http://www.mcplusplus.com/ nerdboy • March 21, 2008 6:08 PM That be bitchin', homies. Have you checked out MC Hawking's opus? Take a look at: Sh#t is whack. White people should stay away from rap, its almost painful listening to this "nerdcore" rap crap, almost as painfull as some so called "real rap". "You can’t hide secrets from the future with math." WHACK!!! Michael Cloppert • March 23, 2008 12:34 PM For those of you interested in nerdcore, two artists I don't see mentioned yet that I can recommend are MC Router and MCPlus+ (whom Bruce has blogged about in the past). If you're looking for something more mainstream, MC Chris (of ATHF & Cartoon Network fame) also has some good stuff. Justin • March 23, 2008 1:36 PM Nerdcore Compilations available for download. They give you a decent cross section of whats available in nerdcore "scene"
