A Hacker’s Mind is Out in Paperback

The paperback version of A Hacker’s Mind has just been published. It’s the same book, only a cheaper format.

But—and this is the real reason I am posting this—Amazon has significantly discounted the hardcover to $15 to get rid of its stock. This is much cheaper than I am selling it for, and cheaper even than the paperback. So if you’ve been waiting for a price drop, this is your chance.

Interesting/odd: Amazon.ca has not discounted the hard cover (yet). I wonder if it will eventually?

Exchange + shipping from Amazon.com comes out at a couple bucks more than buying from .ca, so no arbitrage opportunity there.

@Totty

as of the timestamp of this post I find:

amazondotcomdotau
AU$40.22 (was 52.22); paperback $35.79

amazondotcodotuk
UK£20.85 (was 23.99) paperback n.a.

amazondotcom
US$15.00 (was 30.00) paperback 19.99

Be aware: amazon geofences, plays games with the search engines, and may adjust availability or price of an item depending on your location v.v. the site you are viewing.

Taxes are making me dumb. $22 in import fees to the backwoods I inhabit. No wonder idiocracy has taken over the world.

Amazon requires kindle.
B&N requires nook.
Apple books doesn’t have any purchase information.

Any way i could get a non-DRMed ebook (or one that does not require a specific vendor-locked device)?
