My latest book is doing well. And I’ve been giving lots of talks and interviews about it. (I can recommend three interviews: the Cyberlaw podcast with Stewart Baker, the Lawfare podcast with Ben Wittes, and Le Show with Harry Shearer.) My book talk at Google is also available.

The Audible version was delayed for reasons that were never adequately explained to me, but it’s finally out.

I still have signed copies available. Be aware that this is both slower and more expensive than online bookstores.

In the UK and I suspect other places “Harry” is the easy to say informal version of “Henry”. Just like “Jimmy” is for “James”, “Davy” is for “David” or “Liam” is for “William”.

If you look at the Amazon reviews, you will note that there still are only 21 reviews. Strange enough, the best reviews are non-verified purchases. The less stars you get, the more verified purchases you encounter…

Care to explain that, Mr Schneier?

I was one of the first readers of “Data & Goliath” & all I can say is “one bitten, twice shy”. There, you had a collection / compilation of newsmag (online) articles (1 / 3), confusing policy recommendations (1 / 3), & references (1 / 3), mostly consisting of URLs (& that in a hardback).

Also, as one reviewer mentioned, your example of the Jeep hijacking is just hype. Technically, it is not feasible the (superficial) way you describe the hijacking. And you know it, Mr Schneier.

Sorry, for the negative sounding posting which you definitely won’t appreciate.

Harry Shearer has only been known as Harry Shearer for his entire career.

BTW, you might know him as C Montgomery Burns from “The Simpsons” (among
other voices there).

We’re acquaintences.

On-line reviews are meaningless. No thinking person gives weight to the opinions of nameless, faceless “reviewers”.
