The moderator doesn't seem to be following the discussion very well. What's a merchant crying somewhere have to do with authenticating transactions instead of users? Posted by: Ken at November 20, 2009 10:30 PM Thanks Bruce, the bandwidth could be improved for download however Posted by: Basic at November 21, 2009 1:51 AM ...if merchants aren't wholly liable for dodgy transactions and some of the liability is transferred to the banks or VISA/Mastercard, then it's likely they'll invest in the types of authentication techniques Bruce was talking about. As things stand now, the people who are most able to fix the problem have little to gain by doing so. This is why merchant liability is a relevant theme to the discussion. Make sense now Ken?
