"Get Fuzzy" on Security

"Get Fuzzy" is one of my favorite comic strips. Tuesday's was about security.

That cat is a horrible speller

I especially love how all of the "security devices" are plugged into one power strip, on the outside of the room. :)

@micah, security theater, ya think?

Long time Get Fuzzy fans know that Bucky Katt can't spell.

It's scary how many recurring themes are evident in that strip, though. Security Theater, not protecting against all risks, ...

But the thought that "Bruce is a 'Get Fuzzy' fan, too" just shows I have good taste in cartoon strips. Dilbert is just too passe these days.

Thanks for sharing! That truly summarizes what computer security is like these days.

This reminds me the solipsist treatment of punching him and telling him to stop imagining punching himself... This treatment appeared in Dinosaur Comics:

Its funny and informative. Tells you never to trust the internals! Lot of us only care about protection from external threats but not the internal. Nice one

Hmm, 'sucker punch' just got added to my list of effective side-channel attacks...

UV--
Are you saying that you know cats that can spell better than that?

Maybe the Katt can not spell very nicely but he sure does have an acquired taste for delicacies.

Great strip Mr Schneier
