Tentacles are intrinsically funny. I don't know why -- it's one of those things, like doilies, and kazoos. Some day I want a mechanically-actuated, 4-foot-long, purple tentacle with realistic-looking suckers, and a motor on the end that winds and unwinds a steel cable in the core of the tentacle, so that it thrashes about. Then one day when I have unsuspecting guests over, I'll tape the motor housing underneath a toilet seat, turn it on, close the toilet seat, turn out the bathroom light, and wait.
