I'm sorry, Sherman's Lagoon has a hammer-head shark, not a squid, and Wondermark is just strange. I liked Non-Sequitur & Brevity, though.

Here's another one:

So when is Bruce holding a telethon for "Jerry's Squids"?

How about the children's cartoon Sponge Bob Square Pants (or whatever it's called) that my 4 year old son watches.

I belive Mr Squidly is a squid...

Here's my favourite aquid-realted cartoon from germany:

Translation:
- "I let got now. Just remember, Benjamin: You've got nothing you can break."
- "MY FEAR IS NOT RATIONAL!"

Isn't this whole squid thing about played out, or is there some back story I don't know about?

Posted by: George Bailey at September 2, 2006 6:23 PM

I'm rather fond of Demolition Squid, at Weebls Stuff:

Totally random, but kinda counds as a squid cartoon....

OFF TOPIC

Sorry, it's not squid. I *was* looking for a squid contribution, when I came across this cartoon which I feel is poingnant to recent discussions.

Beaver and Steves' '20000 leeks under the sea' has the Sausage Squid as one of the main characters:

@George Bailey: Bruce just likes squids, and tries to have a weekly squid entry.

Bruce: perhaps you could avoid these questions by renaming the blog to "Schneier on Security (and Squids)."

DrFun has several:

Search for "squid".

This is not a comic, but definitely about octopuses and quite fun (IMO):

Here's one I did a while ago. It was featured on www.squid.us a few months ago - which is a great site for cephalophiles.

I was a bit disappointed! I was looking for Mr. squid but he was nowhere to be seen. He is one character in Spongebob. Does it ring any bell?

Posted by: may56 at September 5, 2006 12:49 AM

The squid's name in Spongebob is Squidward Tentacles not Mr Squid or Squidly.
