Reminds me of Brian writing “Romani ite domum” 100 times.

Apparently, somebody in London has been making graffiti paints using a strong detergent to clean up the walls. so they only way to remove the graffiti is by cleaning the entire wall 🙂

Wow, those are beautiful. That banksy has some real talent, in addition to a wicked wit.

Sigh. Banksy’s web site is blocked by my company’s Websense filter as “Illegal or Questionable.”

Banksy definitely is worth to look at. There has been a huge discussion related to the second picture, whether this is art or vandalism. Given that “to prevent vandalism” is one of the major reasons to install a camera the controverse discussion itself is a reason to appreaciate the piece.
Although I really do like the third much more. Just imagine the guys in the monitoring room “suddenly” facing those letters.

If you like his art Banksy has a great book of his work called “Wall and Piece” which has the wonderful quote on the back “There’s no way you’re going to get a quote from us to use on your book cover” attributed to a Metropolitan Police Spokesperson. 🙂

How can you condone this type of behavior? Those who place cameras have only the best interests of our society in mind. What is depicted is vandalism, a crime.
WAAH HA HA HA HA!! Just kidding! Wish I’d thought of it. I do note that one of the cameras has been ripped from it’s mounts, along with its junction box. I hope none of the stinkers were hurt.

I’m getting flash-backs to every pretentious art-school exhibition it’s ever been my misfortune to attend.
And a link to the Daily Heil?
Saying that there’s some nice Banksy stuff in Bristol, done before he got into his ham-fisted ‘social commentary.’
And the ‘one nation under cctv’ thing was pretty audacious, so kudos for that.

Security cameras, the next best thing for entertainment. I had some night vision cameras at my house catch the police drawing their guns on a dummy army guy and ording him to drop his weapon. Here’s a link to the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0zLiy26MPA A police sargent came to our door a few days later and wanted the video for their police christmas party. No kidding.

I came back to look because of the recent comment.
I discovered that our school district
blocks photos of surveillance cameras!

Cute. Were people thrown off by the scaffolding to think that some official work was being done, rather than graffitti on a grand scale? Or was nobody watching the camera?
