The “war on terror” nonsense will eventually fade and become an embarrassment of our history, but the back-and-forth between attacker and defender will remain

From the article:
“Bruce Schneier is as close as you can get to being a rock star in the security industry. ”
To be precise, less than a rock star but more than a movie star. Googling for “bruce” gives our Bruce as numbers 3 & 4, just below Bruce Springsteen and just above Bruce Willis.

@john
I’ve had the misfortune of attending some of Bruce’s presenations, and given his arrogance he is more like the Paris Hilton of the security industry…

Once the chicks start throwing themselves at your feet you can be the rock star. 🙂 But then you’re have to renounce your geekhood for all time.

“people problems have been around since people evolved from lower primates, and they’ll be around until we evolve into some other life form.”
What a nonsense Bruce! If you have to base your security understanding on something as uncertain as an evolution theory I really have to start question your conclusions…
