For those of you confused about the term, evidently “Millennials” is the term used to describe people currently between the ages of about 15 to 35.

@ Bruce,

… among the Millennial generation, and finds that they respond positively to automatic reminder and prodding. No surprise, really.

Ahh but what about the COG’s (Cantankerous Old G1ts) and TYTC’s (To Young To Care) do the respond “negatively” or positivly 😉

Oh another term for thosse born from the late seventies to early naughties is “Post Baby Boomers”…

Oh and you know this thing about getting children to behave by “reasoning with them” where in effect you actually scare them with the boogie man (John Travolta’s out to get yer 😉 well the new bogeyman appears to be the ‘Internet Perv” who hides not under your bed but behind the LCD screen and camera…

Unfortunatly as we are finding out the bogeyman of fairy tales is not real while the ‘Internet Perv’ is very real and puting their PC camera grabing malware on laptops etc…

Good lord. A quick skim through and I see all sorts of bad advice.

Exhibit A: Suggesting that the presence of a corporate logo or a ‘certification padlock’ in an email gives it some level of legitimacy.

It might be worthwhile producing a ‘gold standard’ set of broad guidelines over cybersecurity, Bruce. Everyone out there thinks they’re an expert! There’s so much bad advice out there (particularly over how to ‘choose’ a ‘secure’ password), we need someone with a high profile to cut through the noise and authoritatively settle some of these things once and for all.
