Idea for the new book: Novelty squid bookmark, ideal for books read by multiple people simultaneously!

That's adorable but not -nearly- big enough. $25 for a giant squid that's only a foot long? Travesty!

I like it!

Ha, I actually picked up one of these at the Museum of Natural History in New York a dozen or so years ago. Highly recommended if you're looking to make an investment in a plush squid. What's funny is they're also sold on Amazon, and one day while I was shopping for something totally unrelated - a computer fan maybe? - this squid came up as a "people who bought this fan, also bought" recommendation.

Use it as a caliphon for the book (like O'Reilly)

@Elizabeth yes! that would be great

My son has one of these. Got it for Christmas. Squids happen to be one of his favorite animals.

For toddlers 2-6? A bit too limited, there, I think!

I have one of these. Her name is Thelma, and she has been photographed snuggling with noted squid-lover PZ Myers. One day I hope to get a shot of her with Bruce. (Do you ever visit Australia, Bruce?)

I'll see your baby squid, and raise you a whole page full of Cuthulu Plushies.

Best link I've seen all day. Thanx!

Any site that sells these:

has my vote/money!
